This all began with Madame Gerard, who after refining her craft creating undergarments with the greatest couturiers in Paris, has become an expert diagnostician. She identifies specific needs for undergarments and creates the perfect solution. She was the first couturier to put "control" on the inside of an undergarment and among the first to use the newest silky and lustrous fabrics to meet the contemporary woman's demand for control combined with comfort. These revolutionary developments were unique to the foundation and lingerie business.
