WARNING:
Upsie Daisie double sided, medical grade adhesive foam tape is very aggressive.. It needs to be in order to help hold your dress in place. It is important that you know that a small percentage of the population will have a reaction to this or other adhesive products.
DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT:
Red marks on you skin after you remove the product (They will go away).
Possible lightening or darkening of the skin when adhesives are removed.
Blisters, rashes, irritation and possible adhesive burn.
A personal or family history of vitiligo, depigmentation, hyperpigmentation, herpes or any other skin disorders.
Blisters, Rashes, Adhesive Burn: The use of any adhesive products always have an element of risk, since they can cause blisters, rashes and possibly an adhesive burn. Even if you' ve ever had a reaction to adhesives and even though the chances are small, this does not mean that you will not have a reaction to this product now or when using it in the future. When you remove the adhesives you may have developed blisters and the top of the blisters may come off with the adhesives, leaving the skin exposed.
The adhesive DID NOT pull off your skin but pulled off the thin blister membrane. If this happens use vitamin E and an over the counter antibiotic for immediate relief and seek professional medical help, preferably from a dermatologist. We recommend that you do not use the product again.
Skin Disorders:
If you have dark skin there is a greater risk that your skin will become temporarily lighter or darker in the area where the adhesives are placed. If there is a family history of vitiligo, hyperpigmentation, depigmentation, herpes or other skin disorders, do not use this product. If you get blister from the product, when the blisters heal, you could develop hyperpigmentation or depigmentation of the skin.
SUN EXPOSURE:
If you have recently been in the sun, you could have a sunburn and not know it so do not wear this product for at least 72 hours after you have been exposed to the sun's rays. This of course refers only to the areas where you would be applying the adhesives.
SKIN PREP:
Skin Prep is included with this product. It sets up an alcohol base, invisible barrier between your skin and the adhesive, first cleaning your skin and improving the products holding power then allowing adhesives to be removed easier. We have enclosed sufficient packages of Skin Prep and they should be used before applying the tapes to your body (even during the test). If you run out of the Skin Prep product, you can find it at most drug stores. If you are unable to locate it, call us at 800-251-3031 and we will be happy to send you additional packages. The cost is 0.25 per package (per use) plus $2.00 for shipping and handling (U.S.A. only). You can also order the skip prep from our website, (www.brazabra.com). If you use Upsie Daisie without the skin prep, you have a greater chance of having a reaction and the product will be more difficult to remove after use.
SENSITIVITY TEST:
Not for individuals with known allergies or skin conditions. Before you use Upsie Daisie with that special dress, on that "special occasion" you need to test the product on your skin, with the Skin Prep, (see below) for up to 4 hours. Make sure you use a full strip of the product and apply it in the same location that you will use with that special occasion dress. We recommend you do this at home or a place where it will be easy and convenient to remove immediately, should you have a reaction. A skin test should be done before EACH USE of the product because body chemistry changes without notice. A skin test is not a guarantee that you will not have a reaction to this product the very next time you use it.
If during the test you experience any sensitivity such as itching, burning, or irritation, remove the product at once. Do not wait for the 4 hours. Even if you've had no reaction during the four hour test, remove the adhesive to make a visual examination of oyur skin. If you've had a reaction, discontinue use and return the product, packaging and receipt to Braza for a full refund. Customer Service, Brazabra Corp. & Run Way, Lee, MA 01238. INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICATION:
1) READ all warnings and information above FIRST.
2) TEST FABRIC, Remove a single strip from the pad but do not remove the top liner. Place the strip in the garment in the location you plan to ultimately use it in. Leave it in place for two hours. Remove the adhesive strip slowly and see if it has pulled open the fabric. If it has, chances are that the fabric is not stable enough to support the product and the garment so do not use it on this garment. Do not use on OPEN MESH materials like gauze or delicate fibers like cashmere or rabbit hair because they may pull apart and damage the garment during use of adhesives.
3)APPLICATION, Remove an adhesive strip from the pad, leaving the top protective liner in tact.
4)One strip should be sufficient for each side unless it's a heavily ornamented garment and then you may need to use two strips. Leave 1/2 inch space between strips. Stick the exposed adhesive side to garment as shown on this package. It's easier to do this before putting on the garment.
5) When garment is on, remove the remaining protective liner and press garment against skin. Hold for about 15 seconds for best results.
6) WEAR FOR UP TO 6 HOURS, We recommend that you do not wear this product for more than 6 hours. Keep in mind that the longer you keep it on, the greater the chance you will have a reaction. We also recommend that you not use the product in the sme location within 24 hours.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR REMOVAL:
1) Slowly pull garment away from skin. Depending on the material, the adhesive strips will stick to either the garment or the skin.
2)If tapes stick to garment, remove garment and slowly remove tapes. Never leave tapes on garment after use. We will not be responsible for damage to garment beacuse of failure to remove adhesive strips afeter use.
3) If taps stick to skin remove garment nd then very slowly peel tape off of skin. If you pull off quickly is more likely to irritate your skin.
4) Your skin will probably be red where tapes were removed but this will fade after some time.
