Ardyss International came up with this post partum style to help with the  speedy recovery after childbirth by encouraging the internal organs to reposition themselves into their proper location.  It compresses the uterus making for the easier expulsion of clots.  At the same time, it helps prevent hemorrhages and provides proper support so you can be fully mobile in caring for your baby. Assists the muscles of the abdomen and the back.

  • Material: Made with the most comfortable fabrics and has double fabrics and double support in the tummy area.  It features a stretch fabric for the inner panels and garment center opening.
  • Front Support: The front boasts of a double reinforced panel and one added layer of lace to hold your tummy in place.
  • Back Support: Assists the muscles of the abdomen and the back.
  • Side Support: The side panels reduces the hips, to get rid of saddlebags.
  • Lower Support: Side support panels goes down and around the buttocks to lift and reshape your muscles and tissues.
  • Slip on girdle (no hook/loop closure or zip).

This garment is amazing. My mother made me wear this after I had my son. I had gained 80 lbs during my pregnancy. I never thought I could lose the weight. The post partum girdle reduced my hips and thighs and my stomach was flat. I wore it as soon as I got home from the hospital and for 3 months straight, day and night. This garment also lifted my butt. I regret not wearing this after my second son. Now I have a belly and my butt looks flat.
